In the midst of our sadness over our friends moving this summer, God gave us a rainbow in the rain by allowing Ryan, Amy, and Gracie Lyn to move home. We are so full of praise for this time with them. As it turned out, the kids were able to stay with Amy one of their days and they were over the moon excited about a whole day with just she and Gracie.

They swam and played and just had the best day. Claudia and Cooper have really missed Amy so much more than they were able to express. This was like medicine for their little souls to be with her and to know that they are going to be just a few minutes away.

Saturday before the kids started, Chad and I surprised them with a trip to Chuck E Cheese. They have been asking a lot recently about going there. It was their first time and they were so happy. I snapped a couple of pics with my phone while we were there. It was a great way to celebrate the end of our summer and new beginnings in 3rd grade and Kindergarten. (YIKES)

Cooper spent most of his coins riding things like this horse. Since he is a real cowboy from Gunsmoke, it was the most fitting place for him to spend his time. Claudia was intense playing Deal or No Deal!
