Easter, 2011

I have decided if I ever want to catch up on my blogging, I just have to get started. I feel all this pressure to make sure I go back and do it all in chronological order because I can be a little OCD like that but I have come to the conclusion that I will never get it done and I miss blogging so much! So, I have decided to just start with Easter.

We were so blessed with a beautiful day on Easter Sunday. I thought the kids looked so precious, and quite grown up, in their new clothes. I love the Southern tradition of new clothes for Easter. I hope it will be a tradition we always continue in our family. I think this is the first year in a long time we have all matched. It all started with the cutest blue/white seersucker pants for Cooper boy.

The kids obliged and let me take lots of pictures before church. I got some really great shots of them both. I cannot get over how much older they both look.

Our choir presented their Easter Cantata that morning. It was beautiful. I don't remember ever going to a cantata on Easter morning but I loved it. The music was amazing. It tells the story of our Savior in such a powerful way.

It was a beautiful day to celebrate our Savior and the LIFE we have only because of His sacrifice. After church, we headed to Granny's house for the most wonderful afternoon. I hope to post those fun pics soon!
