In July, Claudia received an invitation to join the Performance Company at our dance studio. While we were honored to be invited, it was not a decision to take lightly. PC is a great demander of time from the whole family and we wanted to be sure we made the right decision. Claudia prayed about it, as did her parents, and in the end, we decided to accept the invitation. We did two summer classes as well as PC camp in August and we learned one thing quickly, this was a new rodeo. The dances are more difficult and the girls have to learn them quickly. I was so proud of Claudia for keeping up and working so hard. She never complained and has enjoyed it so much already. In PC language, this is "trip year" which means in summer 2013, we will take a trip with the entire company to perform. In the past, they have done Disney, cruises, etc. This year our destination is possibly Daytona Beach or Cocoa Beach. Claudia is so excited about the trip!
Mrs. Vickie hosted a pool party for all of the girls at her house. It was a busy weekend for everyone so there was only a small group to show up but they still had a lot of fun and made a lot of noise.
