Where...
you can truly have a vacation...because there are no crowds...
and no rush...
and the days stretch out for a long time...
and the waves roar because there are no people there to compete with their sound...
Where beach just sits there waiting...
for me to take pictures for Christmas cards...
for us to seek for shells...
for a book to be read...
for waves to be jumped because it is still warm enough...
for Chad to doze under the warm sun...
for Frisbees to be thrown...
for castles to be built...
Waiting also...
to bless us with peace...
for the Holy Spirit to whisper through the waves...
to renew our spirits...
and refresh our minds...
and remind us that He is God and He can handle everything because He is magnificent...
Where the sunsets...
completely take my breath away...
and steal my light, basking me in darkness...
and the waves continue to lap at the shore...
and the peace engulfs me...
and I feel holiness surround me...
because ONLY God could have created such beauty...
The best time of the year
to visit this sanctuary
is right now...
and I am counting the days!
