Sun & Surf

What could be more fun on our 5th day than a water park? Nothing! The kids had been eyeing Big Kahuna's every time we went by. We surprised them on Wednesday of our week and hit the slides. We got there shortly after they opened and left just before the closed. We had so much fun. I did not dare risk taking my camera so I have this one picture from my phone. Claudia and Chad were on the big rides while I hung out in the smaller areas with Cooper. Even though I didn't risk riding slides with my back, I had just as much fun as they did. It was a beautiful day and it was the perfect way to spend the day! We will absolutely go back to Big Kahuna's next summer!

For our 6th day, it was sun and surf all day! Claudia had gotten this cute new swimsuit while shopping one night. The kids had also gotten new boogie boards. Cooper's was a tad big for him but Claudia was all over the waves on hers!

I remembered Cooper's shades this time and he was looking cool! He had fun digging and going back and forth for water. He's not much of an ocean swimmer, must take that after me!

This was the least crowded day at the beach. It was nice to not have to battle for a spot by the shore!

Before we left for dinner, we went out to the beach for our traditional photo shoot. After loading the pics on my computer, I realized my camera was fogged over for most of my pics. That broke my heart but I got a few good ones so I am thankful for those! As our time was winding down, I was already starting to be sad. I just LOVE to be away just the four of us and I am always sad when it is over.
