Spring Break, 2012

Panama City Beach

Our spring break came exceptionally late this year which proved to be the best time of year for a trip to the gulf. With Chad's work schedule, we couldn't swing the entire week but we were able to squeeze in a few days of fun in the sun. We decided to go somewhere different this year as we have gone to Destin as long as we've been married. Everyone tells us how much PCB has changed and since neither of us had been to PCB since we were teenagers, we decided to give it a shot.

God woke me up early on our first morning, just in time to appreciate His handiwork in the beautiful sunrise. Some time watching the colors change and listening to the crashing waves as I studied His word set the tone for an amazing day. I was in awe of His blessings all day as we enjoyed our day together and I watched Claudia and Cooper have fun playing all day. We relaxed and had a great first day.

We got dressed and went to Pineapple Willies for dinner. We finished the evening exploring Pier Park and getting our new favorite, frozen yogurt. This day was such a blessing. We have been so busy lately that we really needed a few days to escape and just enjoy each other.
