She is almost 7!

It's time to plan a birthday party around our house. This is how we have celebrated the last 3 birthdays:

For the last 3, we have had a HUGE fall festival birthday party. We have had 60 or more people come each year and it has been a blast. Claudia has chosen her favorite outfit...with a little persuasion from me, and we have dressed up for fall! The kids love it. They get to dress up and play games and we all have the best time. It is a lot of work but it is so much fun to have all our friends over to enjoy the fall. We have been blessed with great weather.

These pictures are from her 4th birthday party. She was Raggedy Ann and Cooper was Tigger. I love the Raggedy Ann outfit. This is one of my favorite years. You can see in the next picture a sample of the crowd we have had...

So now what? Not this, not anymore...we need a break from the gigantic parties of the past. Even though we have all loved them, it is time for a change! Looks like we've hit the age of inviting just a few girls. I sure hope this will be easier! Whatever we do, it will be fun to celebrate the blessing of another year with Claudia!
