Getting ready for Easter

Last year we started something new at our church. Instead of the traditional egg hunt, we started having a Flashlight Egg Hunt at night. It is a blast! The kids all bring their flashlights and have so much fun searching for those coveted prize eggs. It makes the hunt last longer and the kids end up having just about as much fun playing with their flashlights as they do hunting eggs. This year we also went with plastic eggs filled with candy. In my days of hunting eggs, those WERE the prize eggs. Boy have things changed!

While we were waiting for dark, we took the kids in the sanctuary & did the Resurrection Eggs. We were totally thrilled and full of praise when 2 kids gave their hearts & lives to Jesus! This was certainly a night worthy of praising God for His son and the salvation we can have through Him!
