The kids and I went to see my Daddy right after church on Sunday so we could be back home early to spend the afternoon/evening with Chad. Aunt Connie gave Claudia a pedicure...
Cooper was so sad when we left Roanoke because Chad wouldn't go with us. He didn't know we had a surprise in store for him. A while back his Grandaddy gave him one of his guns and he has been anxious to learn to shoot a real gun. The last two times we've gone to visit, we have forgotten the gun. Chad brought his parents up and surprised Cooper so he could shoot all over PawPaw's pasture. Cooper was a HAPPY BOY!
Everything is rustic at PawPaw's house and I love every inch of that place. It was a great place to grow up.
Claudia and Addie played all afternoon together.
She even gave it a try and then promptly decided she didn't like that at all.
But Cooper couldn't get enough and he was so happy shooting his gun with his daddy.
Granny came out to visit for a while. She looked so pretty. I am amazed at her health and stamina at 90 years old. She is amazing. God has blessed her with such a long, healthy life. I just cannot imagine my life or our family without Granny. She is an icon in our family.
Daddy hurt his back this past week so he was having to use a cane to walk. He was in pain but still enjoyed having everyone visit.
Grandaddy with his eyes closed but he sure was enjoying being outside in the shade watching the kids.
